    Short history of the journal

“Today’s Children are Tomorrow’s Parents” (TCTP)

The beginning of the journal “Today’s Children are Tomorrow’s Parents” is tightly connected with the development in Romania, among professionals and academics, of the topic child abuse and neglect prevention.

In October 1996, with the support of International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN), and UNICEF in Romania, a new Romanian NGO, Society for Children and Parents (SCOP) organized the first conference in Romania on the field of child abuse and neglect.

Dear Members of the Scientific Committee of TCTP Journal

Thank you for your work and for staying closely to the Journal TCTP. Your contributions to the journal development were and are exceptional. The Journal is still unique in Romania by the topic on which is focused: child abuse and neglect. The journal’s start was in 1999 and today we celebrate the 12 years of continue development. This early adolescent asks for revisions and reconsiderations.
